The following explains how to put PCs into maintenance mode so they cannot be used by customers. This is useful when a PC has issues that need to be repaired, preventing access until maintenance is completed.

  1.  On the Computers page select a PC right-click it, then go to Manage and click Enter Maintenance Mode. (Figure 1)

  1. The PC status will turn red and show as “Maintenance” (Figure 2).

  1. On the client side, the PC will display “Under Maintenance” and member login will be disabled, hiding the login panel and preventing any user access.(Figure 3).

  1. After the maintenance is completed, right-click the PC, go to Manage, and select Cancel Maintenance (Figure 4).
