The following explains how to force all newly created member accounts to purchase a specific offer as a welcome offer.

  1. To require all new member accounts to purchase a specific offer, enable the "New Member Offer" option. This setting can be found under "Time and Offer" in the "Settings" section. (Figure 1)

  1. Select the offer you want new members to purchase for the first time from the drop-down list, which displays all available offers.(Figure 2)

  1. Once selected click Save.
  2. When you go to the members page and create a new account, you might notice a message saying "insufficient balance." This happens because the system is trying to automatically purchase the offer you selected earlier from the drop-down list. To resolve this, you should top up the member's account based on the pricing of the selected offer. (Figure 3)

  1. Once you add sufficient balance, the system will automatically create the new member account with the selected offer included. (Figure 4)

  1. The same logic applies when creating a member account from the client side or through the Portal registration. If the offer is free, it will be automatically added to the newly created account. If the account has insufficient balance, the offer will not be added.
