QR topup with Google pay

The following explains how to retrieve your Google Pay account details and connect it to iCafeCloud for global QR code payments.

  1. Go to pay.google.com/business/console
  2. Sign in with your business Google account
  3. Your Merchant ID is displayed in the dashboard  Merchant profile (Figure 1)

Server Side

  1. In the iCafeCloud admin panel, navigate to Settings → Client Settings, select Google Pay under Payment Gateways, enter your Google Pay Merchant ID, and set the Google Pay Integration Type to Gateway.  (Figure 2)

  1. The Google Pay gateway supports payment processors like Stripe and Adyen. (Figure 3)

  1. For Stripe, you must add both your Stripe Secret Key and Stripe Publishable Key. (Figure 4)

  1. For Adyen, you need to provide your Adyen API Key and Adyen Merchant Account.(Figure 5)

Client side

  1. On the iCafeMenu login screen, a new wallet icon labeled "Balance" will appear, allowing you to top up your account directly ( Figure 6).

  1. Click on it to open a new window.
  2. Enter the member account and specify the top-up amount or the time in minutes the system will automatically calculate the equivalent value. Then, click the green button to confirm ( Figure 7).

  1. After you click "OK" to confirm the top-up, a QR code will be displayed. (Figure 8)

  1. In the admin panel, transactions will appear as "In Progress" in the SHOP history. (Figure 9)

  1. Next, scan the displayed QR code with your phone to complete the payment (Figure 10).

  1. Once the transaction is complete, its status will be updated to "Successful." (Figure 11)

  1. If the Mini QR payment is set to 10, for example, the minimum payment should be 10 if less, an error will show at the client, preventing the transaction. (Figure 12)
