The following explains how to automatically shut down consoles using Sonoff hardware when they are in standby (idle) mode, to prevent unauthorized use without an active session.
- Go to Settings, then open Payment and Tax Settings. Locate 'Auto Shutdown Idle Sonoff' and set it to 'Yes'. (Figure 1)

- If the Sonoff console shows as 'Standby' on the admin panel, it means the device is idle. It will automatically shut down after 5 seconds, which is the default timeout period. (Figure 2)

- This function prevents the use of the console if the Sonoff device is turned on manually instead of being activated through iCafeCloud with a timer.
