Barcode scanner serial port

The following explains how to connect a barcode scanner through the serial port with iCafeCloud.

1. Go to Settings - Shop Settings, locate Barcode Scanner Serial Port, and click Select. (Figure 1)

2. A tab will appear showing the connected ports. Select the serial port where the barcode scanner is connected, then click Connect. (Figure 2)

3. Your scanner should be in serial mode to scan in the Shop page.You can change the scanner mode by following the instructions in its manual.
4. First, enable the Product Code for each product you want to scan.
5. Go to Settings - Products, and select the product you want to enable (Figure 3).

6. On the Shop page, when you scan a product code, the product will automatically appear in the cart with its code, and you can proceed to confirm the payment. (Figure 4)
